5th Case of Coronavirus Reported in UAE

A new case of coronavirus infection has been announce to have been caught by a Chinese patient who came from Wuhan, China (the origin of the virus). This was announced in a statement released by the Ministry of Health & Prevention. This is following an announcements where a Chinese family of 4 were reported to have been infected as the first cases in the UAE. This totals to 5 cases now in the country.

While the Ministry of Health & Prevention has released these statements, they have also added that all the patients are in stable condition and under medical care. The five detected cases indicates the system of surveillance and efficiency of the UAE in the health sector. They have also shared that the Ministry is handling the cases which adhere to the World Health Organization’s guidelines in dealing with the disease.
