UAE Declares Holiday Long Weekend for Workers
Long weekend in UAE to celebrate Prophet Muhammad's birthday.
There will be a long weekend in the UAE in honor of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad. The holiday date is on November 18 – Sunday. When combined with the weekends (November 16 too 17), it will be a long holiday. Work is set to resume on November 19 – Monday.
Take note that this news announcement is currently set for public sector employees.

Initially, the holiday was set on November 20 – Tuesday. But with the recent announcement, the date has been moved to November 18.
