Massive Discounts at the Dubai Shopping Festival

The Dubai Shopping Festival is the most luxurious and most awaited shopping celebration in Dubai. Several malls in Dubai would open its doors to customers and would offer massive discounts on items that can reach up to 90%. This event is organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) to increase its visitors and tourists from different countries to visit Dubai.

The DSF has been celebrated for 23 consecutive years now starting on the 16th of February 1996. This helped the UAE to boost it’s consumer spending and increased the number of tourists visiting Dubai which allows several people to have jobs during this event. A recent study states that during the DSF tourist and residents have a more likely chance of spending and splurging on different items during the shopping season.

Massive Discounts at Dubai’s Shopping Festival

All items on retail shops at Dubai would cut its prices to 25%, and even up to 90%, this is done to sell all excess items and at the same time satisfy customers by offering cheap goods ranging from clothing, gadget, accessories, and more.

During the first few months of 2018, an analysis was released by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce stating that retail sales in Dubai might be valued at around $43.8 billion by the year 2021. A marketing official of Dubai Tourism also said that there would be several opportunities for budget-wise customers to enjoy discounts during weekends throughout the festival. Moreover, during the “Weekend Surprises” or Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, all customers would have a chance to avail surprise discounts on a wide selection of items such as clothes, accessories, gadgets, etc.

If you like shopping during night time, then starting on the 9th of January organisers of DSF said that there would be massive deals and discounts every Wednesday at 6 pm onwards. During this time customers can enjoy several bundles and bulk deals at different retailers, and even enjoy discounts at restaurants.
